Encryption in transit and at rest
Data is encrypted while it moves between your devices and Relief Monitor, and while it is stored in our systems.
Minimal, scoped access
We request only the access needed to monitor the account activity you've asked us to watch — nothing broader.
You can revoke access anytime
You remain in control of the authorization you've granted. Revoking access stops monitoring going forward.
No data resale
Information gathered through monitoring is used to operate your account and is not sold to third parties.
Access logging
System access to monitoring data is logged, so there is a record of when and how your account information was accessed.
Retention limits
Monitoring history and reports are retained only as long as needed to provide the service, consistent with our Privacy Policy.
A note on scope
Relief Monitor is an independent monitoring service. We are not the IRS and not a government agency, and monitoring does not grant us the ability to file, change, or act on your behalf with the IRS.
